Visitors from around the globe delight in the Village of Kaslo, BC, nested on the shores of Kootenay Lake and located near Slocan Lake and the Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park. Kaslo has many heritage buildings, including the "SS Moyie" the oldest passenger stern-wheeler in the world. Visitors to Kaslo enjoy the pristine lake waters, fishing, boating, golfing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, hikes and the magnificent scenery. Throughout the year Kaslo hosts a May Days weekend, with logger sports and a traditional Maypole dance and a Music Festival hosted by Kaslo Jazz Etc in summer. Kaslo Motel offers varied accommodations ranging from three bed cabins to motel rooms. Escape to this mountain lake town and experience serenity at Kaslo Motel.

Our property is low density, with areas that let you have space to yourself. Rooms have private exterior entrances with no enclosed corridors,
and some have kitchen and dining areas so you can enjoy meals in place

Amenities & Policies

Office Hours 8am to 9pm, arriving later or leaving earlier, please make arrangements with the office.
Arrival time is after 4.00pm, check out time is by 11.00am. Single room reservations can be cancelled up to 6.00pm the day prior to arrival with no penalty. Kaslo Motel has 17 rooms made up of 4 units ( share a wall with another room) 5 stand alone cabins, and 8 motel rooms.

We do not accept pets.

Bed Types

All rooms/units/cabins are Non-smoking and we will charge a fee of up to $150.00.

Cabins and Kitchen units are a minimum two night stay.

Kitchen facilities

Kitchen facilities vary, with all except one having full ovens and one a stove top only (kitchen units are self catering, you do your own dishes) .

Rooms that do not have a kitchen have a coffee pot and small refrigerator.

Satellite -TV is available in all rooms, most rooms have 32" Flat Screen TV's.We offer Shaw Direct with 200+ channels in all rooms

Wi-fi is available to all registered guests. All rooms air-conditioned.

Grill available

Barbeque grills are available to use, be nice to your fellow guests and clean after use.
